Corporate HSE Director

Having led the Health and Safety department since 2024 and with FTE Drilling since 2018, Denis Morin has spent his entire career in the drilling industry, including 20 years in the mining sector. He has been tasked with harmonizing health and safety practices across all divisions to achieve a zero-accident goal.



Stephanie
Richardeau.

Regional HR Manager - Africa

Combining 16 years of human resources experience and 19 years in Africa, Stéphanie has built strong expertise in talent management and team leadership. Her approach is deeply connected to the realities of the field and aligns fully with FTE’s commitment.



Elisabeth
Beaudoin.

Regional HR Manager - North America

A graduate in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from the University of Sherbrooke, Elisabeth Beaudoin joined FTE in 2020. She contributes to strengthening the team by fostering engagement and talent growth, while reinforcing an innovative corporate culture, believing that human capital is the company’s true wealth.



Ndeye
Gnima.

Regional Director Finance and Administration - Africa

Gnima Dianko has been Director of Administration for Africa at FTE Drilling since 2018. A CPA since 2015, she has strong expertise in financial management. Before joining FTE, she gained seven years of experience in auditing and risk management.

Controller

Stéphanie, an experienced CPA, began her career in an accounting firm before transitioning to the corporate world. With 20 years of expertise, she has been with FTE since 2021. Her rigor, versatility, and understanding of financial challenges are invaluable assets to the company.



Alex
Stonor.

Sales Manager- Africa

Alexander Stonor leverages over five years of experience in the mining industry to support FTE Drilling’s strategic development in Africa. Holding a master’s degree in international relations, a former mining reporter, and business affairs director, he combines a deep understanding of the strategic challenges faced by mining companies with solid field experience in Africa and Latin America.



Vincent
Gonthier.

Vice President Sales and Market Development - Africa and Middle East

Vincent Gonthier joined the FTE team in 2009 after 10 years in a management position in the railway industry. Based in West Africa for over 15 years, he has played a key role in the company’s growth on the continent and maintains a vast network in the mining sector across Africa and internationally.



Anik
Joannette.

Project Manager

After a decade of practicing commercial law, Anik now has over 10 years of experience in geothermal project management. She joined the company in 2020 and is responsible for institutional and commercial geothermal drilling projects across Quebec. She is recognized for her strong management and communication skills, which contribute to the success of our projects.

 



John
Millard.

Technical Sales Specialist

After earning his Resources Drilling and Blasting diploma, John gained experience across Canada and internationally, including Turkiye, Ghana, and Central America. He joined FTE two years ago and now focuses on contracts and technical sales, offering tailored, cost-effective drilling solutions that foster strong, win-win relationships with clients.



Marc
Girard.

Project Director

Marc Girard brings over 40 years of expertise in operations management and strategic planning. A member of the team for the past 7 years, he has contributed to the company’s growth both internationally, with 5 years spent in Senegal, and locally at our Varennes branch for the past 2 years.

Lapointe.

Project Manager

With over 20 years of drilling experience, Alexandre supports clients at every stage of their projects. His expertise ensures thorough service and effective solutions to unexpected challenges, contributing to the successful completion of each job from start to finish.



Kyle
Fetterly.

Technical Director

Working for FTE Drilling and its divisions since 2009, Kyle Fetterly has played a key role in the development of the water and piling sector across Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean. With his technical background in Civil Engineering, he has successfully diversified FTE into several markets and managed large-scale civil and water projects in multiple countries.



Hugo
De La Mora.

Project Director

Hugo brings over 35 years of mining industry experience, offering extensive knowledge and proven expertise. Recognized as a leader in his field, he has consistently contributed to operational excellence and innovation throughout his career, making him a valuable asset in strengthening capabilities and driving continued growth.



Mathieu
Lambert.

Operations Director

A geological engineer with nearly 10 years of experience in drilling and mineral exploration, Mathieu Lambert is recognized for his field expertise, technical coordination skills, and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams. He joined FTE Drilling in 2020, where he actively contributes to the execution and supervision of complex projects across Canada.



Sébastien
Bouchard.

Project Director

Since joining FTE Drilling in early 2023 to support the launch of the division in Morocco, Sébastien Bouchard has brought over 20 years of experience in the mining sector, including 11 years abroad. His field expertise actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the company’s operations.



Kevin
Michaud.

Project Director

Diamond drilling specialist Kévin Michaud has been active in the mining industry for over two decades, much of it spent abroad. Since 2021, he has brought his expertise to FTE Drilling. Known for his hands-on skills, he passionately manages large-scale projects across more than nine countries.



Denis
Lyrette.

Operations Director

Denis Lyrette has been working in the drilling industry for over 35 years. A diamond drilling specialist, he has extensive expertise in directional drilling. He has worked in several African countries and has held the position of Director at FTE since 2022.



Christian
Bélanger.

Operations Director

As a drilling consultant and Operations Director for FTE Drilling in Senegal, he brings over 40 years of international experience across Africa, South America, and Europe. His strong adaptability enables him to successfully overcome the unique challenges associated with drilling in diverse global contexts.



Claude
Dejardin.

Technical Director

Claude joined the FTE Drilling team in 2009. As Technical Director, he leverages his expertise in diesel mechanics, his attention to detail, and his strong skills in management, analysis, and problem-solving to ensure the successful execution of the projects entrusted to him.



David-Jacob
Boulet.

Operations Director

Employed for over 20 years, David-Jacob Boulet has been working in Africa since 2008, where he plays a key role in the company’s expansion. Through his work in field operations and management roles in different countries, he has developed comprehensive knowledge of diverse drilling services.



Daniel
Caron.

President of the Board of Directors

A graduate of the Royal Military College of Kingston, Ontario, in Industrial Engineering, Daniel Caron has worked in the manufacturing sector as a manager for over 35 years. He has been serving on boards of directors for 12 years and joined FTE Drilling’s board as a director in 2018, becoming board chair in 2022.



Eric
Ellyson.

Non-Executive Board Member

Now a corporate director, Eric Ellyson has held various management positions with Quebec-based companies involved in international markets. He notably served as Chief Operating Officer at Soucy Group in Drummondville and as Director of Engineering and Sales/Marketing at Bombardier. A mechanical engineer with an MBA, Mr. Ellyson has also advised numerous business leaders on improving profitability.



Maysa
Habelrih.

Non-Executive Board Member

An executive and board director at FTE since 2020, she holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University, as well as the International Masters Program for Managers (IMPM). She worked at Alcan / Rio Tinto Aluminium from 1989 to 2019, finishing her tenure as General Manager – VP of Joint Ventures, overseeing 9 operations worldwide. From 2021 to 2023, she served as CEO of the Mouvement québécois de la qualité, a non-profit organization focused on improving the productivity of Quebec-based organizations.



Philippe
Gingras.

Vice-President Operations/Head of Eastern Canada Division

Philippe Gingras has been with FTE Drilling since 1998 and has served as Vice President of Operations and Head of the Eastern Canada Division since 2015. His international experience, particularly in Africa, has enabled him to support the company’s growth while providing strategic guidance to our clients.



Gilles
Lapointe.

Director of Operations - Sherbrooke

A specialist in water well drilling, Gilles Lapointe was formerly Vice President of F. Lapointe et Fils, now a division of FTE Drilling. He currently serves as Director of Operations in Sherbrooke, where he oversees project design and coordination activities.



Denis
Verville.

Vice-President HR & Communications

At FTE Drilling since August 2018, Denis has been dedicated to implementing HR frameworks by establishing best practices and innovative processes. With over 35 years of expertise in Human Resources and Health & Safety, Denis focuses primarily on team development and aligning practices across the organization.



Éric
Bouchard.

Director of Sales and Strategic Development

Éric Bouchard leverages his business development expertise to lead sales and strategic development at FTE Drilling. For over seven years, he has served as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring the efficient kickoff of drilling projects.



Pierre
Yves Blais.

Director of Strategic Development

Pierre-Yves Blais founded Forage Technic-Eau Inc., now known as FTE Drilling, and partnered with F. Lapointe et Fils in 1987 to grow the company internationally. President until 2015, he now serves as a Strategic Development Director, where he continues to contribute to its growth.



Yanic
Bernier.

President

As the head of FTE Drilling since 2015, Yanic Bernier has played a key role in expanding the company into an international business. With his strategic vision and expertise as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), the company has experienced significant growth, notably through acquisitions and the launch of divisions across three continents.



Josée
Parenteau.

Chief Financial Officer

Chief Financial Officer since 2012, Josée holds a degree from the University of Sherbrooke and is a member of the CPA Order. With over 30 years of experience, including 18 years in accounting firms, she works closely with the CEO and supports the financial management of the group’s companies, both in Canada and internationally.



Éric
Saint-Laurent.

Vice President of Operations

Éric St-Laurent has 20 years’ experience in engineering, strategy and marketing. His expertise in the manufacturing sector enables him to help our company improve performance and deploy new technologies.

At Forage FTE, Éric is Vice-president of operations for the entire group, and his mission is to deploy corporate objectives and lead the company towards exponential growth.
