    FTE Drilling is a rapidly growing company in the drilling industry. As part of the modernization of our financial systems, we are creating a new Financial Systems Manager position. This person will serve as the internal subject matter expert for our financial solutions, primarily Microsoft Business Central, and lead the continuous improvement projects that support them.

  • YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

    • Act as the internal functional expert for Microsoft Business Central.
    • Lead and implement continuous improvement projects for financial systems.
    • Work closely with Accounting, Operations, Sales, and IT teams to establish best practices, procedures, and controls.
    • Coordinate internal stakeholders and manage relationships with external service providers for technical matters.
    • Governance and functional support – Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support, document processes, train users on new functionalities, and manage enhancement requests.
    • Improvement and integration projects – Lead projects from requirements analysis through deployment and establish priorities with the relevant managers.
    • Standardization and controls – Implement best practices, internal controls, and security and compliance procedures.
    • Reporting and performance tracking –  Monitor project performance indicators and track operational gains achieved.

  • QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

    • University or college diploma in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • 3 to 5 years of experience managing financial systems or ERP solutions, ideally including Microsoft Business Central.
    • Functional proficiency in financial modules; knowledge of inventory or CRM modules and system integrations/APIs is an asset.
    • Experience leading cross-functional projects and conducting functional analysis.
    • Versatility and pragmatism, with the ability to thrive in a fast-growing, mid-sized company.
